With a 260 ml capacity and pistol-grip handle, it provides sustained engagement capability against multiple subjects in dynamic operational environments — situations where a directional jet would be insufficient and where wide-area coverage is decisive.

With an effective range of up to 6 meters (20 ft), MK-9 OC neutralizes threats at extended distance through a fog dispersion pattern that covers a large engagement area. The pistol-grip handle with safety pin delivers stable two-handed control during prolonged deployment, while the 260 ml capacity supports sustained operations without canister change. The actuator is equipped with a first-use indicator, allowing immediate verification of canister status — essential for duty readiness and post-deployment reporting.

The ADMIRAL formula reaches a 2,000,000 SHU potency, on par with sprays issued to international law enforcement. On contact, OC immediately triggers an intense burning sensation in the eyes and on the skin, involuntary eye closure and strong coughing. The subject is incapacitated for 15 to 30 minutes, allowing the operator to control the situation, complete intervention procedures and call for backup if needed. The fog dispersion pattern affects all subjects within the engagement zone, making MK-9 OC particularly effective for crowd management and multi-subject scenarios.
