With a 420 ml capacity — 62% more than the MK-9 OC — and a pistol-grip handle, it provides extended sustained engagement capability against large crowds and dynamic operational environments where mission duration and area coverage are critical.

With an effective range of up to 6 meters (20 ft), MK-46 OC neutralizes threats at extended distance through a fog dispersion pattern that covers a wide engagement area. The pistol-grip handle with safety pin delivers stable two-handed control during prolonged deployment, while the 420 ml capacity supports the longest sustained operations in the range without canister change. The actuator is equipped with a first-use indicator, allowing immediate verification of canister status — essential for duty readiness and post-deployment reporting.

The ADMIRAL formula reaches a 2,000,000 SHU potency, on par with sprays issued to international law enforcement. On contact, OC immediately triggers an intense burning sensation in the eyes and on the skin, involuntary eye closure and strong coughing. The subject is incapacitated for 15 to 30 minutes, allowing the operator to control the situation, complete intervention procedures and call for backup if needed.
